Hanlon House (c.1904) offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation at Stanley, on Tasmania’s North West Coast.
Hanlon House offers ensuite accommodation in the heart of Stanley, just below The Nut. All rooms have king or queen-size beds, some have additional beds, one has a spa. You’ll be welcomed with great hospitality. Take the time to look round historic Stanley, with Joe Lyons cottage, Highfield House, museums, elegant photographic, antiques and gift galleries, restaurants and providores.
Each afternoon between 5pm and 6pm, we serve a complimentary “happy hour” with canapés, nibbles and a drink of your choice.
After a generous cooked breakfast, served in the dining room overlooking the ocean, climb The Nut or take the chairlift; it’s 150 metres high, and experience the freshest air on earth and take in views of beaches, rocky headlands and green rolling hills. Spend your day exploring the verdant countryside, national parks, and enjoying local produce; local seafood, crayfish, cheese, wine and whisky.
Hanlon House is a haven at the end of each activity-filled day – a friendly welcome and a crackling log fire in the guest lounge room. Of an evening, take a torch to see the local penguins nesting nearby.
