Delish fine foods was opened in Febraury 2007 by Kurt Wyss and Ann Brakey. It is a very fine delicatessen and cafe in Burnie. Kurt is a master cheese maker from Switzerland so naturally the cheese range, some of which includes Tasmanian Highland Cheeses, Ashgrove, King Island, Tasmanian Heritage and imported cheeses including Swiss Gruyere, Italian Gorganzola, French Roqufort is selected by an expert.
Some other quality products include the excellent Classic BFS smallgoods by Thomas Beuke at Deloraine, Mount Gnomon Wessex ham, Hillfarm sauces, Wursthaus bacon, terrines, pates and smallgoods, Tasmanian Gourmet chutneys and relishes, Wilmot Hills grappa, Ghost Rock wines and many more products.
Delish also serve delicious cafe style breakfast, lunch and snacks. All cakes are made in house by our talented kitchen staff and carefully selected by Head Chef Carla O’Donnell. We pride ourselves on using only the best fresh local produce. Coffee is Jasper Fairtrade Organic. We also stock gourmet gift items, useful kitchen items, beverages and food books. Its the perfect place for stocking your larder.
