Petuna began in Tasmania in 1949, after young professional fisherman Peter Rockliff met his future wife and business partner Una while docked at Bridport in Tasmania’s north east.
Together they would combine to create Tasmania’s largest multi-species seafood business from their outlet in East Devonport. The now global business, with processing factory, smokehouse and value added processing facility, has been developed at the back of Una’s original East Devonport retail outlet.
Peter and Una’s retail shop today has been transformed into ‘Petuna Seafoods and Gourmet Pantry’ – a seafood and gourmet heaven. Stockists of fresh seafood and a range of Tasmanian gourmet foods, wine and cheese, fantastic Tasmanian Ritual coffee, delicious deli lines, ready-made meals, gourmet hampers and seafood platters made to order.
