A showcase of various lifestyle pursuits, specialist food, wine and wonderful products made on the North West Coast. The event will take place amongst the stunning vistas of historic Highfield House in Stanley.
For gardening enthusiasts Tino Carnavale from Gardening Australia will be attending and there will be gardening speakers, plant stalls and creative flower installations . The Tasmanian Royal Botanical Gardens are growing their “famous” Heritage tomato plants for us to sell on the day. This is very exciting as this is a first for the North West Coast.
For “foodies”, four local chefs will be cooking specialities in a wood fired oven and will be featured throughout the day.
While you browse the stalls and taste the food you can enjoy the local band and other musical entertainment. This year we will be offering opportunities in a major floral art competition with two main sections, OPEN and APPRENTICE, to all Tasmanian’s. We believe that a prestigious floral art competition with such generous prizes and acknowledgement of artistic talent has not been offered before in Tasmania. OPEN section will attract $1000 prize with the Apprentice award $750.
